Kyle Richards Reveals Shocker on Her & Mauricio’s Living Situation: “See What Happens...”
Kyle Richards is speculating about the future of her marriage to Mauricio Umansky in a new preview for RHOBH Season 14.
In a preview of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 3 — set to air Dec. 3 — Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky discuss their new living arrangements following their October 2023 announcement that they are separated.
For months, the couple continued to share their Encino home before Mauricio ultimately decided to move out and sign a 6-month lease on his own place.
"I'm like, thinking about you in this condo with no dogs, no gate training," Kyle says as Mauricio laughs. "You literally have like no responsibilities over there. Free as a f-cking breeze, aren't you?"
Of course, Mauricio moving out comes with some advantages — like more closet space — but that doesn't mean Kyle isn't feeling the weight of these changes. She notes in her confessional that Mauricio's decision to sign a 6-month lease "gives us the time to assess where we're at" and "maybe we'll reconvene in six months and see what happens."
However, Kyle adds that Mauricio also bought the furniture that came in the condo instead of having it staged. "Which is, of course, more permanent. I thought, 'Oh, this does not seem temporary,'" she shares.
When asked by producers if she was hoping to reconcile with Mauricio after the six months are up, Kyle says, "I don't want to answer that question right now."
As of November 2024, neither Kyle nor Mauricio have filed for divorce.
Does Kyle Richards live alone?
Kyle currently lives in her family home in Encino with two of her daughters: 24-year-old daughter Sophia Umansky and 16-year-old daughter Portia Umansky, the latter of whom is still in high school. Her 28-year-old daughter Alexia Umansky moved into her own place with her boyfriend Jake Zingerman earlier in the year.
Kyle Richards called her current living situation is "sad"
In October, Kyle opened up about being "so emotional" when both Mauricio and Alexia moved out.
"When you're a married mom of four, the house is chaotic. So it felt different. Thank God I still have two daughters at home," she told Us Weekly.
Kyle also has the company of her six dogs, but as she admitted to the publication, "Sometimes I'm like, 'Wow, I didn't expect this day to come so soon.' It is sad for me. I'm here alone with six dogs. Am I a crazy dog lady? Maybe!"
