Karen Huger’s Daughter Has Major Career and Relationship Updates: “Celebrating”
Rayvin Huger made a whirlwind trip to drop in her mom on RHOP — and had some exciting career news to share.
As the daughter of the “Grand Dame of Potomac,” Rayvin Huger may have some big shoes to fill, but she’s already making her own mark in the world.
On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Rayvin offered up an exciting update on her thriving career as a content creator and social media influencer during a special lunch with her mom, Karen Huger.
“It feels like we’re celebrating,” Rayvin told her mom as they sat down in DC’s Latin American restaurant MITA. “I got a huge, huge deal, probably my biggest deal ever with Amazon. They’re rolling out a new, like, campaign launch for their lives. I do meetings with them weekly. I feel so executive.”
What does Rayvin Huger do for a job?
Rayvin is considered a “digital specialist” who is “versed in working with top New York and global PR agencies across a multitude of luxury accounts to build unique digital and influencer marketing strategies,” according to her LinkedIn profile.
Rayvin, who Karen once dubbed the “Baby Grand Dame of Potomac,” also posts her carefully curated looks on Instagram.
Proud mom Karen told her daughter that she was living “vicariously through you now.”
“Every day I look at Rayvin, I could not be happier for her,” she said in a confessional. “She’s living her best life and thriving in her marketing career. I want to be in her purse and go with her everywhere, but she’s not having it.”
Is Rayvin Huger dating anyone?
Although Rayvin was only in town for a day, like any good mom, Karen also made sure she got the scoop on Rayvin’s love life.
“Obviously I’m dating, but you would know if they were special,” Rayvin assured her mom. “I am not in a rush or anything, but it is — yeah, it’s spooky out there.”
Karen was pleased her daughter wasn’t rushing into anything.
“I love it that you’re loving yourself and taking care of yourself. This is your time, you know,” she told her.
The conversation then turned to Karen’s recent legal problems.
“One of the most powerful moments after the accident was when I realized I wasn’t taking care of myself and you always say to me, ‘Mom, you’re so strong, I’m so proud of you,’” Karen told her daughter.
“You are and I feel like you also, you carry the weight of the world on you a lot of the times and then you never stop to process that and it’s hard to not look strong all the time,” Rayvin replied.
After assuring her mom it was OK to be vulnerable sometimes, Rayvin also offered some advice on how to handle any criticism coming her way from the RHOP cast.
“Anybody who approaches the situation and is not first and foremost concerned about your health and well-being is not a friend of yours,” Rayvin told her mom. “There is no other conversation to be had.”
“Thank you, Miss Rayvin,” Karen replied. “I couldn’t have said it more eloquent myself.”
Karen dished about the close bond she and her daughter share now that Rayvin is an adult in a past interview with Bravo.
"I always told her, one day I would be her friend but I will always be her mother," Karen said. "Now that she's a young adult, I'm venturing into 'friend,' being her very good friend, if not her best. That's what I want to be. But I'm also her mom. So I have to strike that balance with her."
The pair appeared together in the 2022 special, The Real Housewives of Potomac: Karen's Grande Dame Reunion, which traced Karen’s familial roots.
“I actually loved every moment of being with my daughter,” Karen said at the time of filming together. “I mean, it was very genuine, it was very authentic. She really brings out the best in me. And she always surprises me with what she'll say."
