Joe Bradley on dating his co-worker, Salley
On Southern Hospitality Season 2, Episode 5, which aired on January 11, Joe invited VIP host in-training, Salley, to his apartment for a homemade Italian meal. Naturally, Joe was excited to be on a date since he had been experiencing troubles in his love life.
“For me to invite a girl to my apartment – this is a big deal for me,” he said in a confessional, adding, “I’m trying to impress this girl, clearly.”
Following dinner, Joe and Salley “define[d]” their blossoming connection by revealing that they wanted to continue to see each other and sealing the deal with a kiss.
TJ Dinch addresses Salley about Joe Bradley and Gaston Rojas
While Joe and Salley managed to end their night on a good note, things quickly turned sour between them by the end of the episode after TJ Dinch learned that she had “made out” with his roommate, Gaston, before going on a date with Joe.
In an attempt to protect his friends from getting hurt, TJ confronted Salley at work about the situation with Joe and Gaston. During their discussion, Salley immediately denied the events between her and Gaston. However, TJ wasn’t buying Salley’s story, telling her, “I don’t believe that. I just don’t want to see my best friend and someone that I love and care about get hurt.”
When Joe noticed that TJ and Salley were talking, he intervened to see “what happened.” Of course, TJ told Joe what allegedly happened with Salley, causing the VIP manager to storm out of work.
In an interview, Joe said: “I feel like an idiot... this is the sh-ttiest feeling I could imagine.”
Joe Bradley addresses Salley about the Gaston Rojas drama
On the January 18 episode of Southern Hospitality, Joe had a sit-down with Salley to give her a chance to explain the “truth” about her romance with Gaston. During the conversation, she admitted to “kissing” Gaston and apologized to Joe for “lying” about the situation.
Ultimately, Joe and Salley were able to resolve things. However, Joe still ended up being hurt by the situation. “I’m not only, kind of like, heartbroken and demoralized, but I feel like an idiot,” Joe shared in a confessional. “[Leva Bonaparte] is right, it’s not smart to date co-workers."
