What Epic Project Is Uniting Fredrik Eklund and Tom Colicchio?
The #MDLNY broker and this #TopChef are teaming up — and we couldn't be more excited.
When worlds collide! Million Dollar Listing New York agent Fredrik Eklund and Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio are teaming up on one of Fredrik's listings. The MDLNY broker revealed on Instagram that Tom will open a restaurant in new condo building The Beekman, which of course was featured on the latest season of MDLNY (clip above). "Love working with Tom Collichio on this 51-story project where his restaurant will be at the base and providing room service to all the condominium residences above," Fredrik shared on Wednesday (September 16). "Tonight we're celebrating over 50% sold, and I think I should be the new guest judge on Top Chef, okay?" (Fine by us!)
In addition to confirming the venture with Tom, Fredrik also revealed that he's investing in some more real estate. He confirmed a New York Post report that he and business partner John Gomes (along with their husbands) have been eyeing adjoining estates in Greystone on Hudson, just outside NYC. He kept any further details a secret, but has since dubbed himself "#FredrikGatsby." We like the ring of that.
