Top Chef’s Lee Anne Wong Postpones Wedding That Was Supposed to Take Place on 4/20
The Top Chef contestant had a different kind of celebration instead.
Lee Anne Wong had big plans for her wedding, but much like every other person planning to have a large gathering during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, she was forced to postpone the event. So, the Bravo's Top Chef contestant decided to make the most of her situation and celebrate what was supposed to be her special day, in a different way.
On April 20, the day the cheftestant was supposed to get married, she took to Instagram with a message about her wedding arrangements. She shared a photo of her son, Rye, and her fiancé, Lyle, hanging out in her living room. The post explained that although their big plans were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, they were going to take the change of plans in stride.
For her caption, she wrote, "We were supposed to be getting married today. Another day of big laughs and even bigger snuggles shall make the wine that much sweeter when the time is right. We will, however, be consuming considerable amounts of champagne, whisky, and juice boxes. #celebrate #happy420 #lylonandwong #TBD #itslikeweremarriedalready."
We're so glad Lee Anne was able to celebrate on that day, even if it was in a totally unexpected way. She's surrounded by loved ones and staying positive — and that's all that really matters. Check out her post below!
