Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky Reunite for Celebratory Evening with Their Daughters
The estranged RHOBH couple continues to put their family first.
Although their romance may have ended, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still share plenty of love.
This was further proven on Friday, October 4, when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills parents came together for a celebratory night in Los Olivos, California. The reunion was a full-on family affair, as Kyle and Mauricio were joined by all of their children: Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky, as well as Kyle’s oldest daughter, Farrah Brittany, from a previous marriage.
Kyle and Mauricio share another look at their post-split family dynamic
Alexia documented the occasion on Instagram, where she posted a photo of her and her sisters posing alongside their parents.
Although Alexia didn’t provide any details about the event, Kyle confirmed it was held at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern. The Beverly Hill’s Wife shared a few videos of the gorgeous outdoor space, which featured rows of banquet tables adorned with floral centerpieces, candles, and sleek dishware.
Kyle also showed off her outfit for the night: an all-black Western-inspired ensemble that featured a fringe skirt, a button-up vest, ankle boots, and a cowboy hat.
Other attendees included Alexia's boyfriend, Jake Zingerman, TV host Justin Sylvester, and Kyle's niece Kimberly Jackson.
Alexia and Sophia Umansky celebrate their friend's wedding
But the celebrations didn’t end there. Alexia returned to Instagram on Saturday, October 5, to share a few snaps from a family friend’s wedding. One of the pictures showed Sophia sitting at the outdoor reception beside Kimberly and her boyfriend, Filipe Silva.
Sophia later revealed that the wedding was for Chase Greenberg and her longtime friend Taite Wiederhorn.
“My beautiful best friend [Taite] married her best friend [Chase],” she captioned a photo of the happy couple.
Sidenote: Taite is the sister of Thayer Wiederhorn, the husband of Kyle’s other niece Brook Wiederhorn.
Kyle and Mauricio reflect on their separation: "We still love each other"
The celebrations occurred more than a year after Kyle and Mauricio announced their marital split. Although Mauricio has since moved out of their family’s Encino home, the two haven’t taken any steps toward legal separation and have seemingly remained on great terms.
“I can tell you that I’m proud of our marriage. I call it a success,” Mauricio told USA Today back in March. “We were kids when we met; we’re completely different people today than we were back then. And sometimes you just grow apart… I wouldn’t trade [my marriage] for anything in the world. It was the best… We still love each other.”
Kyle spoke about the transition in an October episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, explaining how her children handled the change.
“When the news first came out, it was really, really devastating for the whole family,” she said. “My kids were just crying and wouldn’t leave the house, and it was really, really difficult… But now, they’re much better, and they’re really strong and they’re they’re just so together and so smart and they’ve been my best, best, best friends, and I could not be more proud of them. They’re just amazing human beings, and thank God I have them through this.”
