You Won’t Believe Which Unexpected Person Left Teresa in Tears on Her Wedding Day
The bride-to-be got emotional after receiving a message from this person who appeared on RHONJ Season 13.
Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey highlighted the weeks leading up to Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas, and viewers finally saw the two exchange vows on Teresa Gets Married, which aired on May 23.
Though Teresa was feeling nothing but “love, love, love” on the morning of her August 6 nuptials, there was one moment that left the mom of four in tears — and it involved the infamous RHONJ coffee grounds reader, Angie.
As Teresa explained in an interview on the wedding special, Angie, who popped up on Season 13 to tell the ladies about their futures, became a “dear friend” of hers when her dad, Giacinto Gorga (aka Nonno), was in the hospital.
Teresa then read a text she received from Angie on the morning of her wedding, which brought her to tears.
“Good morning, Tre,” the bride read from her phone while sitting in the makeup chair in her bridal suite. “Today’s the big day. I had a dream of your parents last night. Just know they are both walking you down the aisle today. Your dad said, ‘No tears today.’”
Teresa began to cry, as she recalled that her father “would always say that” to her.
“He’s gonna hold your hand the whole time,” the RHONJ OG continued reading. “They both love you so much and can’t wait to dance with you tonight. Love you.”
As the Turning the Tables author revealed in an interview on the episode, her wedding day ended up being a little bittersweet, as neither of her parents could physically be there to guide her down the aisle.
“I would have loved just to have my parents walking down the aisle with me,” she shared. “Waking up today, I said to my parents, I’m like, ‘Ma, Papa, I know you’re here. Be with me all day. Let’s have an amazing day together.’”
Teresa’s late parents were able to be with her in spirit on her big day, though, thanks to her bridesmaid, Jennifer Aydin. After Teresa finished reading the text, Jennifer came in to give the bride a special gift: her “favorite picture” of her mom and dad in a pendant she could wear during the wedding.
Once Teresa was done getting ready, she walked down the aisle (with her $10,000 hairdo!) to marry Louie.
Now that Teresa and Louie have officially tied the knot, Season 13 will continue with a reunion. Part 1 of the reunion kicks off on Tuesday, May 30.
