On August 1, the Southern Charm cast member brought us into her Charleston abode via her Instagram Stories, revealing the details of her kitchen area and teasing what she had in mind for the space in her remodel.

"Some much-needed changes are on the way," Taylor wrote in the video, which showcased her kitchen being looked over by an employee of Heritage Flooring Company and interior designer Caroline Craft.

Taylor didn't give details yet about what she and her collaborators have in mind for changing up the area. For now, the kitchen has a light gray tile floor, multicolored granite countertops, teal blue lower cabinets, and cream-colored upper cabinets. The space also features a cylindrical light fixture overhead, and it's not clear if Taylor's looking to switch that out yet or not.

Taylor Ann Green's Home Renovation

Earlier in July, Taylor showed off more details of her home DIY projects and renovation journey.

“We’re gonna do some adulting today,” Taylor said in an Instagram Story video that showed how she was swapping out overhead light fixtures. “I’m gonna play Bob the Builder and switch my light fixtures. I’m doing a big renovation on my house. I’m gonna take it upon myself to do my own light fixtures. I have no idea what I’m doing...  Wish me luck.”

Taylor replaced her old drum pendant fixture with a beaded “boho chandelier” she noted she bought from Amazon. After installing the new piece, she hopped back on her Stories to share the big reveal.

“I think we’re doing pretty good. I think I kinda know what I’m doing,” she said before highlighting the living room addition. “I cannot believe that I actually just did that. Anyways, moment of the truth: I turned the power back on… but let’s see if this works.”

After hitting the light switch, everything seemed to work out perfectly.

“Oh my gosh. I am so proud of myself. It works!” she said. “I didn’t blow up the house. I have one more to do, but I’m gonna get [boyfriend Gaston Rojas] to come and do that one because she was tough. Anyways, that was fun! Thanks for joining along.”
