Surprise! Million Dollar Listing New York's Steve Gold Has Welcomed His First Child
The MDLNY agent has given his baby a very clever name.
Whoa! Steve Gold is now a dad!
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent welcomed his first child, daughter Rose Gold, with girlfriend Luiza Gawlowska on Thursday, June 6, he confirmed in a surprise announcement on Instagram. The lovely post features a black-and-white photo showing Rose's itty bitty feet. But of course, we can't wait to see what is sure to be a beautiful face.
The arrival of his little one just about left Steve speechless. "Wow. Words cannot begin to express this feeling," Steve gushed in the post. "This morning, we welcomed our daughter Rose Gold into the world and I can’t stop staring at her beautiful little face (and feet)!"
Though Steve kept the news that he and Luiza were expecting a secret up until now, he said he's now excited to share his new family with the world. "It’s been so tough to keep such a big part of my life under wraps, and I want to thank everyone who respected our privacy along the way," he shared. "But now, after staring down and seeing those perfect little eyes looking back up at me for the first time makes me so excited for this incredible new chapter. I can’t wait for all the adventures and memories we are going to make. Welcome to the world Baby Rose. We love you so much!"
Steve went public with his new relationship with Luiza in March. The two first met in August 2018, and they have been living together in New York City since February of this year.
The MDLNY broker admitted that things were "moving quickly" in their relationship during an interview with Us Weekly in March. “I couldn’t expect falling in love with someone from another country, moving in together, having our little family,” he said. “I think I’m more myself with her than I am by myself, if that makes sense. I become who I used to be as a kid, more fun-loving.”
Steve is just the latest MDLNY agent to become a dad. Fredrik Eklund and his husband, Derek Kaplan, welcomed twins Fredrick and Milla to the world via surrogate in November 2017. Ryan Serhant and his wife, Emilia Bechrakis, also surprised everyone when they welcomed daughter Zena in February 2019.
