When We Weren't Looking, NeNe Leakes' Granddaughter Basically Grew Up
The Real Housewives of Atlanta "Glam-ma" also discussed her grandparenting style and relationship with Bri'Asia.
"I'm way too young and too fabulous to be a grandma," The Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes said when her granddaughter, Bri'Asia, was born in 2012. And while NeNe is definitely young and fabulous, she seems to have taken up the grandma role with ease — and her granddaughter has completely grown up in those six years! NeNe recently gave an update to The Daily Dish about her relationship with Bri'Asia in the video, above.
"My oldest is a father," she said of her son Bryson. (She has a younger son, Brentt, as well.) "I'm just obsessed with 'Bri Bri' because I never had a daughter and so he has a daughter that is literally my daughter. I think she's really looking like me, too."
Wondering what the hilarious NeNe is like as a grandmother? She opened up about her grandparenting style, too. "I'm obsessed. Like, she's a mess. We let her be a mess because we don't have her every day so whenever she comes to my house, I'm the perfect 'Glam-ma,' honey. You get to eat candy, ice cream, stay up late, run, everything but break something, you can do anything you want to. I love it, by the way. They send me a list and say, 'Well, she's not supposed to eat this, this, and this,' and I said, 'Honey, please keep your list. 'Cause that's not going to work, child,'" said NeNe.
