Mercedes "MJ" Javid Reveals She and Husband Tommy Feight "Are Not on the Same Page" About Baby's Name
The Shahs of Sunset couple will be welcoming their first child in May.
As Mercedes "MJ" Javid and Tommy Feight prepare to welcome their first child, a boy, in May, the Shahs of Sunset mama-to-be reveals there is one thing the couple hasn't exactly figured out: what to call their little one. She told PEOPLE they “are not on the same page. We are disagreeing."
But MJ is confident they will find the right name for their baby: “I’m going to make it a win-win for both of us,” she said. “I am going to make sure Tommy is happy, and I want it to be a name that is culturally acknowledging his Irish side and my Persian side. I want it to be a name that will be beneficial for someone to have throughout their life, because it is part of your identity.”
The two seem to have already agreed on a name previously, although it is currently in dispute. In October, MJ told Us Weekly, “We do happen to have the name. And the name is actually unisex. We’re holding onto that.”
So while the name isn't exactly decided yet, keep your eyes peeled for a unisex name that gives a nod to both Irish and Persian cultures. It sounds like no small feat, but we have confidence in MJ!
