What a Sunday Workout Session Looks Like for Melissa Gorga (VIDEO)
The RHONJ cast member reminds fans that a good exercise playlist is key.
Lazy Sundays? Not for Melissa Gorga.
Finding the motivation to exercise isn’t always easy, especially as we close out the weekend. It's no secret that many people reserve Sunday for leisure and relaxation — a time to recharge the mind and body before the busy workweek begins.
Although experts say rest days are an important part of a solid fitness regimen, there’s no rule they have to fall on Sunday or feel like a dreaded chore. Case in point: Melissa's most recent workout session.
Melissa Gorga shares a peek at her "90's R&B workout"
On Sunday, February 4, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared a peek at her exercise routine inside her Jersey home gym. Melissa began with seated cable pulls, followed by some lying leg curls and a set of seated leg extensions. While it was clear Melissa was in the zone, she made sure to keep the session fun and playful, as demonstrated by her little dance breaks in between sets.

Melissa Gorga details her diet and exercise routine
Melissa has been quite open about her diet and fitness routine over the past years. Back in 2018, she shared a quick breakdown of her workout schedule and what she typically eats in a week.
“It’s a lifestyle for me,” she told Women’s Health. “I feel better when I eat healthy. If I don’t work out for a week or two, I feel miserable.”
The mother of three went on to say she hits the gym about four days a week and primarily focuses on her glutes and abdominals.
“I do a lot of lifting,” she said. “I don’t do that much cardio, because I run around so much… I feel like even if you’re a little bit heavier, it’s all about toning your body. Work with what you’re working with, but keep it tight.”
As for her diet, Melissa said she stays away from “fads” and instead practices “portion control.”
“For dinner, it’s always a piece of meat and vegetables,” she continued, adding that she tries to limit carbs at night. “I feel like I do a lot better with my own routine. It’s worked for me forever.”
