Self-quarantining is definitely stressful under the best circumstances — but add three kids under 4 to the equation, and things are definitely bound to get crazy. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds detailed her experience maintaining social distancing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in a blog post entitled, "A Day In My Life During Quarantine."

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In the blog, Meghan shares the challenges of wrangling her three kids —  Aspen, 3, and twin sons, Hart and Hayes, both 1, — as they stay in Los Angeles. Here's an excerpt from her day: "8:00am I reheat my coffee for the 17th time and wonder how I’ve already changed two diapers, thwarted a combined 28 accidental suicide attempts by three toddlers, fed everyone breakfast (or did they just wear their breakfast? Or did they give it to the dog?  Wait, did Aspen even eat? 'Aspen I think that’s enough screen time!' I hypocritically holler as I check my Instagram again.)"

And working from home presents a whole other challenge, as Meghan is learning. On Instagram, she detailed her experience, writing, "Don’t let this smile fool you, [working from home] has notttt been easy[.] TBH, I can barely get what I personally need done after a full day of taking care of the kids. Last night, I got 2 seconds to myself and wrote a blog post for you guys where I share a day in my life and at the very end, I say 'I need to eat, clean, finish folding those clothes, check my email... oh when did it turn 10:00? I’m tired. I never got to watch my show or read my book or take a bath.  I’ll do it tomorrow…' and that is REAL . Extra love out there for the single mamas and parents who are holding it down. We are all doing our best and while social media can make it seem like we all have our s--t together, I hope my blog shows you that we most certainly do not and makes you feel like you’re not alone."

Meghan's previously shared what else she's been up to as she and her kids self-quarantine, getting creative with at-home activities and enjoying walks outdoors while staying at least six feet away from other people. And as she told her kids, they're still free to watch movies, play dress up inside, and bake and "pig out" on dessert — so it's not all bad!
