Fredrik Eklund Reveals Some Big Updates on His Career
The Million Dollar Listing alum has some exciting new business ventures in the works.
For years, viewers have watched Fredrik Eklund become one of the top real estate agents in the nation. Now, the Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum is readying for his next career move and it involves him swimming with sharks, figuratively anyway.
On March 19, Fredrik took to Instagram to share that he would be the newest cast member on the Swedish version of Shark Tank. In his carousel of photos, Frederik offered fans a glimpse at his day on set. One snapshot included Fredrik taking a selfie with a few of his fellow sharks.
Fredrick looked dapper while filming his newest venture, as he wore a gray suit with black-and-white low-top sneakers. He accessorized his ‘fit with a pair of black specs giving him a quirky vibe.
“The secret is out… I’m the new shark on Shark Tank Sweden!” he captioned the Instagram post.
Becoming an investor isn’t the only exciting career update Fredrik has shared. Recently, he announced his real estate social app, Real Messenger, plans to become a publicly traded company on NASDAQ following its merger with Nova Vision Acquisition Corp. In honor of the achievement, Frederik shared his reaction on Instagram, captioning the post, “God is good.” He added “grateful” as the hashtag.
Sure, Fredrik may be juggling a handful of jobs right now, but he also gives himself a chance to enjoy some downtime in between for the perfect work-life balance. Earlier in the month, the father of two attended a baseball game.
Taking to his Instagram on March 23, Fredrik posted several excerpts from the sporting event. “What an honor throwing the opening pitch at the Yankees [and] Cardinals ST game,” he wrote as the caption.
Fredrik's life has been full of excitement since departing from Million Dollar Listing. Back in January 2022, he confirmed his exit from the show in a heartfelt Instagram post where he reflected on his personal and professional life.
“After an amazing 11 years, I’ve decided it’s time for the next chapter in my life, and to leave Million Dollar Listing, It’s an end of an era and a new start for me," he shared on Instagram at the time.
“I mean what an incredible run we had together. All of my memorable milestones from the last decade I shared with all of you: meeting [my husband] Derek [Kaplan], our wedding, the miscarriages, the birth of our twins [Freddy and Milla], and all the beautiful properties. I will always cherish that shared experience.”
