Lisa Vanderpump's Mother Jean Vanderpump Has Passed Away
The Vanderpump Rules restaurateur's older brother passed away a little more than a year ago.
Lisa Vanderpump's mother, Jean Vanderpump, has passed away, her rep confirmed to DailyMail.com and PEOPLE. She was 84.
Lisa's rep told PEOPLE that she is “devastated and shocked” by her mother's passing. She is asking for privacy at this time and has no additional comment.
The Vanderpump Rules restaurateur is expected to fly to London in the coming week to arrange her mother's funeral, according to DailyMail.com.
This news comes a little more than a year after her brother, Mark Vanderpump, passed away by suicide at the age of 59. Lisa previously opened up about coping with this loss during the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 premiere. "For five weeks I stayed home. Obviously, just being the two of us, we were more like twins," she shared. "It's been incredibly difficult, but we have to keep moving forward and make the people that were so important in our lives proud as they watch down over us."
Lisa reflected on her difficult year during her appearance on RuPaul earlier this week, sharing that she has learned about the importance of connecting with others following her brother's passing. "I'm also all about talking about what's happening in your life because when you reach out to people, when you share your stories, people will benefit from your experience, and you can say how you worked through it or maybe how you can prevent something in the future. So reaching out and being the best you can be and being the best support to those around you," she shared. "If you're going through something, it's OK. We're all gonna go through something."
