LeeAnne Locken’s Christmas-Themed, Wedding Save the Date Is Total Goals
Mark your calendars for April 27, 2019, when the Real Housewife of Dallas ties the knot with Rich Emberlin.
LeeAnne Locken’s getting ready for 2019 by planning her wedding to fiancé Rich Emberlin. The Real Housewives of Dallas designer already revealed her wedding date on the season 3 finale: April 27, 2019. We didn’t have too many details about the main event, but LeeAnne teased to Entertainment Tonight that her Save the Date would be coming in December. This Christmas, LeeAnne and Santa delivered a Save The Date that will be sure to outshine an ordinary star.
On December 21, LeeAnne finally revealed her Save the Date to Hollywood Life… and it’s even cuter than we imagined. Instead of opting for a traditional card, LeeAnne chose to go with a fun, festive ornament her friends could hang on their tree. It’s appropriately silver in color, with the words “Rich and LeeAnne” on one side in gold font, and “Save the date 4/27/19” on the other. And it seems her co-stars are loving the ornament just as much as we are: Kameron Westcott posted a closeup video of the decoration on Twitter, writing “My favorite ornament! The perfect “Save The Date!” Beyond Excited!!”
LeeAnne also has her venue ready—Dallas' Cathedral of Hope—and told PEOPLE earlier this year that the ceremony will be relatively simple, while the after-party will be a “big celebration.”
“I want to do flower walls with neon signs in them for social media pictures. We’ve started going through a bunch of stuff,” she said. “Napkins, silverware, personalized wine bottles—just different stuff. I want it to be such a fabulously fun party.”
As for the reason LeeAnne chose this original way to share her wedding date? The holidays haven’t always been easy for her, especially after her grandmother passed away. “So I wanted to create a new memory to celebrate the holidays with,” she said. “The ornament was the perfect way to do so and to get excited for all that’s to come in 2019. I’m going into the new year giddy and giggling!”
