LeeAnne Locken and Rich Emberlin Got Married in a Dazzling Dallas Ceremony
The Real Housewives of Dallas couple officially tied the knot on April 27, 2019.
The True Texan is truly a wife! LeeAnne Locken officially tied the knot with longtime love Rich Emberlin on Saturday, April 27 in Dallas, PEOPLE confirmed.
LeeAnne and Rich wed in front of friends and family at the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas. The Real Housewives of Dallas charity maven looked stunning in her $25,000 custom-made wedding dress designed by Dallas-based designer Nardos Imam.
She shared her excitement for the big day before officially walking down the aisle, on Instagram, gushing about Rich by calling him her "best friend" and "soul mate."
The RHOD couple first met when Rich reached out to LeeAnne on Facebook after seeing her across the room while out at The Ritz one night. After nearly 10 years together, Rich popped the question to LeeAnne at the State Fair of Texas in 2017, which we saw in Season 2 of RHOD.
But the couple's road to the altar hasn't been easy. They dealt with speculation about why they seemed to be stalling to set a wedding date, as well as rumors about Rich being unfaithful to LeeAnne, last season of RHOD.
LeeAnne silenced the haters when she revealed that she and Rich would be tying the knot on April 27, 2019 during the RHOD Season 3 finale. Since then, LeeAnne has given a few glimpses into her wedding planning, including a look at the save the date, the joys of getting her marriage license with Rich, and the revelation that she and Rich would be reciting their own vows.
LeeAnne told Us Weekly earlier this month how she was able to remain so calm, cool, and collected before the big day. “I think it freaks my friends out how not worried about anything I have been,” she shared. “I am so at peace with who I am and where we are as a couple that the rest seems like, well, as we say in the south, the rest is just lipstick on a pig.”
Well, when you know the man you're marrying is the one for you, it's pretty easy to say "I do," we imagine. "He's my universe. He's everything," LeeAnne gushed about Rich to The Daily Dish during an interview in September 2018. "He's my security. He's my protector. He's my Prince Charming. He's my provider. And he's my best friend."
