Lala Kent Reveals the Sex of Baby No. 2: "I Don't Know How to Keep a Secret"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member announced her pregnancy in March.
There's a baby on board for Lala Kent, and the Vanderpump Rules cast member just revealed whether she'll be giving her three-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett a brother or sister.
What Is Lala Kent Having?
Lala shared the sex of her second child during an Amazon Live stream on April 9: She's having a girl.
"I'm so excited," Lala said, before acknowledging that she had found out the sex a bit earlier.
"I had a very intimate little get together..." she said about how she learned about the baby's sex. Her assistant, Jessica, delivered the news, and facilitated a cake to be made that had pink frosting on the inside. Lala then kept the news private for a few days before going on Amazon Live.
"I don't know how to keep a secret," she joked about why she felt proud to have kept the news to herself for as long as she did.

What Is Lala Kent Naming Baby No. 2?
Lala initially announced her pregnancy on Instagram on March 3. Later, just a few days before she shared her baby's sex, she teased what her name might be.
The former SUR hostess took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that her future daughter's name will start with the letter "S."
"Ocean picked out the cutest outfit for baby S," she wrote over a photo of a brown paper bag. "The first outfit we've gotten for the new addition. I'd show you, but then you'd know what I'm having."
When Is Lala Kent's Due Date for Baby No. 2?
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared when exactly her second child is due during the Vanderpump Rules After Show: September 1, 2024.
"We're bumping, and expecting a baby in September," Lala said, before revealing why her due date holds special significance to her. "My due date is September 1, which is wild because I'm September 2," Lala said about how close the baby's due date is to her own birthday.
Lala Kent's Pregnancy Journey After IUI
Before Lala announced her pregnancy, she was open about her desire to use Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) to conceive her second child. She ultimately found a sperm donor through the California Cryobank, and she connected with his profile immediately.
Lala chronicled her journey to expand her family on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules as well. Lala sat down with SUR matriarch Lisa Vanderpump on Season 11, Episode 7 to share why IUI was the right next step for her.
"Because I want another baby so badly, and this morning, my child is fully speaking ..." she told the RHOBH alum, which you can check out in the clip at the top of this post. "She's very excited about the thought of a sibling."
Lala completed her first round of IUI in December 2023, and she found out she was pregnant shortly before Christmas.
