Lala Kent Shares an Update on Life with Baby Sosa: "No Rush…" (PHOTOS)
Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent just revealed an adorable new look at her life as a mom of two.
Lala Kent is basking in the newborn phase with her second daughter, Sosa Kent.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member recently took to her Instagram Stories to share an adorable update on her youngest child, whom she welcomed in September 2024.
"One of these days I will rejoin the world," Lala wrote alongside a photo of her baby girl nestled in a light pink blanket. "I'm in no rush."
Just a few days later, Lala posted a sweet video of her new addition cozying up to her older sister, Ocean Kent Emmett. In the background of the post, Lala discussed how much her daughter has grown.
"You guys. So, my baby is seven weeks old, will be seven weeks old — and, is it just me, or is she, like, a big baby?" Lala asked her followers. "Like this baby looks like [she's] like three months old. She looks grown."
Lala Kent's life since welcoming Sosa Kent
In the weeks since Lala became a mom of two, she's been spending a lot of quality time at home with her girls, and with the other members of her "pod," her mom, Lisa Burningham, and her brother, Easton Burningham.
Lala revealed how Ocean has been adjusting to life as a big sister in an Instagram Story in September.
"For real though, Ocean is absolutely obsessed with Sosa," she wrote. "We are all over the moon about the newest addition to our pod. I can't wait to share all the moments of this new chapter and blessing in our lives."
The newborn has also gotten acquainted with a few members of Lala's inner circle — Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay, and The Valley's Michelle Saniei Lally. Both Scheana and Michelle have posted pictures on their respective Instagram feeds of them meeting Sosa for the first time.
To close out September, Lala posted a carousel of photos featuring her little family. "You can find me on the 9th cloud," she captioned the images.
Now, it's easy to see why Lala is in "no rush" to leave her family bubble.
When did Lala Kent give birth to her second daughter, Sosa?
The former SUR hostess gave birth to her second daughter on September 3, about six months after confirming her pregnancy on Instagram. As Lala documented on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, she used intrauterine insemination (IUI) and a sperm donor to conceive Sosa.
Lala and a few of her Vanderpump Rules castmates picked out her sperm donor at a party featured on Season 11, Episode 12.
"This is not how I pictured my life. I'm just beyond grateful that this is an option," Lala shared in an interview on the episode about using IUI to have her second baby. "If there's one thing that I feel like I'm good at in my life, [it's] that I'm a good mama. So, this is very fun, but, obviously, we're picking my baby daddy."
