Several weeks after giving birth to her second child, Sosa Kent, the Vanderpump Rules mom took to Instagram to share a quick update on her well-being. Lala uploaded a video to the Give Them Lala podcast page, explaining how she was holding up with the new family addition.

“We are thriving. I have no complaints,” Lala said while holding her new baby girl. “I’m on Cloud 9. I am living for this two-kids kind of life. I’m ready for number three; although my mom tells me to chill out on that.”

Lala Kent shares an honest baby No. 2 update: "The exhaustion has sunk in"

Lala revealed she felt surprisingly energized after welcoming baby Sosa, and was initially “bright-eyed and bushy-tailed” with a “new glow”; however, once week three rolled around, the former SUR host felt much differently and enlisted additional help from her night nurses.

“The exhaustion has sunk in. I am a little tired,” she continued. “I had a night nurse three days a week. I am now at seven. That is right, I have one [night nurse] seven days a week. Shout out to all of my mommas doing the damn thing because you guys are superheroes.”

The post received about 14,000 “likes” and hundreds of comments, many of which left Lala “shocked”… in a good way.

Why Lala was "nervous" about her "night nurse" comments

The Vanderpump Rules mom confessed she was nervous to read the comments section, as she was criticized for using a night nurse for her first daughter, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé.

“I was kicking myself for mentioning my night nurse bc I experienced so much mom shaming season 9 of VPR for having a night nurse for [Ocean Kent Emmett],” she wrote in another Instagram Story shared to her personal account. “I will say I was shocked by the amount of love & support I got compared to my previous experience.”

Lala reflects on the support she's received since giving birth

Lala said moms flooded the post with “stories of their struggles” and “high points of motherhood,” as well as encouraging words for her single-mommy journey.

“Although it may be different than they did or would have it done it… it was really nice to see,” she wrote. “So if you commented something kind, know it meant a lot to me, and I appreciate you. Also, to my night nurse(s): The way I love you. THANK YOU.”
