Kathryn Dennis Opens up About One Thing She's Struggled with Since Becoming a Mom

Kathryn Dennis has been extremely busy since she became a mother. From family vacations in Florida to mother-daughter weekends, the Southern Charm mom is always up to something fun with her 5-year-old daughter, Kensington, and 3-year-old son, Saint. In fact, Kathryn's schedule is so jam-packed, that she hasn't really had any time to truly take a selfie. But luckily for anyone who needs a little eyeliner inspiration, that has finally changed. 

After slaying her own eye makeup (and tackling an impressive liquid wing for the first time ever), Kathryn shared a photo of herself on Instagram. “Honestly don’t think I’ve taken a selfie since having kids, so I went for it,” she wrote.

She even shared her editing secrets with someone who dropped into the comments to ask what apps or filters she used. Although Kathryn only used the iPhone auto-correct button on this selfie, she's been totally transparent about her edits in the past. She's not afraid to admit to using the smoothing tool every once in a while, like when she shared her first swimsuit photo since before Saint was born.

Of course, Kathryn has posted plenty of other kinds of photos in the five years that she’s been a mom. From mirror pictures showing off some of her boldest outfits to images from the photo shoots she’s modeled in, her grid is full of amazing shots. Now, she’s just making time for a new mom-life selfie aesthetic.
