The Below Deck alum has been serving up one squeal-worthy snap after the next, giving her followers several looks at her baby boy. But Kate’s latest picture of Sullivan Cay may be the cutest one yet. It’s certainly filling Kate up with the so-called “cuddle chemical.”

In a recent Instagram Story, the new mom shared a peek at her baby. Asleep in a striped blanket, with his wee hands clutched in front of him, Sullivan looked like an angel. And his mama was definitely feeling the love. “My oxytocin levels are through the roof,” the yachting pro captioned her post. And indeed, this new Sullivan photo is the cutest, cuddliest image you’ll see all week.
We’re about six weeks into these adorable Sullivan spottings, and we can’t get enough. Kate welcomed her baby on Friday, May 5. The first photo she shared was a mother-son portrait snapped in the hospital, where Sullivan had come into the world mere hours before.
Wearing sunglasses, a button-down shirt, and her signature updo, Kate held the newborn in her arms. “Hard Launch: Sullivan Cay,” she wrote, announcing her little one’s birth. Still swaddled in his hospital blanket, Sullivan seemed to have a hint of a smile on his teeny face. He was alert and seemed curious, but he’s had plenty of time to rest up since then.
Kate addresses speculation about Sullivan’s dad
Back in December 2022, Kate shared that she was planning to raise her child “solo and perhaps with some help.” The former chief stew has not publicly revealed who Sullivan’s father is, but she has given a clue about who he is not. And let’s just say the dad has never cooked up fancy meals for charter guests.
On May 8, Kate shared a photo of her little guy and wrote up a cheeky announcement. “For the record, the only thing this handsome guy has in common with any chef is the tendency to get emotional around meal times,” she tweeted.
Sullivan already has a “best friend”
Meanwhile, Sullivan is settling in nicely at home and bonding with a certain dog who lives there.
On May 20, Kate shared another cute photo of her newborn son. The picture showed the infant nestled in a pillow as Kate’s beloved pet — a Havanese named Halo — protectively rested his head next to the baby. “Best Friends,” the proud mama captioned the post.
