Josh and Heather Altman Just "Upgraded" Their New OC House: "Game Changing"
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple recently made a big purchase for their future home.
As Josh Altman and Heather Altman work to finish their new house in Orange County, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple just made a very important purchase.
In October 17 Instagram Story videos, Heather documented a day of mattress shopping with Josh. "This is really how you're supposed to figure out the type of firmness that you like," she said as they both enthusiastically jumped on one of the mattresses in a store.
"We have upgraded our mattress to a Custom Comfort mattress, and it's been game-changing," Heather explained. "So now we're doing the Newport house, and I'm doing a whole house with Custom Comfort because Josh and I are very different on firmness. So we're testing out mattresses. We're doing a family bed this time so we can cozy up with the kids."
In addition to picking out "a big, big family bed" for their Newport bedroom, they also purchased new mattresses for their kids, Lexi and Ace.
Are Josh and Heather Altman moving full-time to Orange County?
Yes, but not quite yet!
In March 2023, Heather revealed to The Daily Dish that she and Josh had just purchased their new waterfront home in Orange County and would "be remodeling that over the next year" to make it their full-time residence eventually .
The renovation has taken a bit longer than expected, but it's almost finished. In June 2024, Heather told The Daily Dish: "We’re still in the middle of construction, hopefully nearing completion in the next four months or so."
"Of course, with any remodel, you can scope one thing, and then you get into it, and you’re like, ‘Oh, let’s increase the ceiling height, let’s blow out this wall, let’s add this,’" she explained. "So we definitely added some time to the project, but at the end of the day, this is our forever home so I want to do it perfect and do it right... We did everything that we wanted to with this house, and it’s going to be amazing."
Josh and Heather Altman Bought a Miami Penthouse
The couple will also soon have another home to furnish. In the same June interview, Heather revealed that she and Josh recently bought a Miami penthouse as a vacation home for their family.
"That’s going to be a part-time residence for us," she continued. "Everything’s always an investment, but we’re going to get some enjoyment out of it, and we’ll see what we end up doing with that. We love Miami. We do a lot of business there also. So it's just another good investment for us and another place to play and do business."
That apartment, Josh shared, is "gonna be done in January of 2026."
