Margaret Josephs' husband, Joe Benigno, is pretty handy around the house — and that's putting it mildly. As The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has shown, her "Super Joe" can redo an entire home to meet Marge's specs, and even handcraft lion heads for the yard. But even though Joe knows his way around housework and yardwork, sometimes he has to call on a little help from his friends to get things done. And that's where Melissa Gorga's husband Joe Gorga comes in.
The husbands of RHONJ have always had a special bond. Bravo viewers have seen the gentlemen laugh over drinks, party at the Jersey Shore, and even pose as sexy Santas together. As you can see in the clip above, the husbands also make quite the entertaining trio. But even when they're just doing chores together, the two Joes manage to make it a fun act of friendship.
Are Joe Benigno and Joe Gorga friends today?
In an October 10 Instagram Story, Joe Gorga shared a clip of himself and his buddy standing in the latter's yard. "I'm here with Joe Benigno," he said. "I'm gonna help him out, cut some trees down. We're like men — like men!" Showing off their tools, Melissa's husband said: "Chainsaws! Look at all these trees we just cut down. You have me here working. That's what friends do: We take care of each other."
And speaking of having each other's backs, Margaret's husband was quick to promote Joe Gorga's exciting next act. "You know what's happening on Saturday night? In Princeton, Joey's comedy show," he said. "You've gotta go. You gotta go! It's gonna be the best one ever."
Joe Gorga previously announced this big career news. The dad of three took to Instagram in August to share that he will perform a comedy set this month for the first time in a while. He'll be reuniting with comedian Mike Marino — who he performed with during his first-ever stand-up routine — for the show.
"I'm Back! See you October 14th in Princeton, New Jersey!! Gonna be a fun night with [Mike Marino]!" Joe wrote in the caption of the post announcing the show, which will take place at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club. Tickets range in price from $99 to $150 — and yes, Joe Benigno already has his. "I'll be there!" he said in Joe Gorga's October 10 Instagram clip.
Joe Gorga is no stranger to the comedy scene. Two years after his comedy debut in 2019, he performed a sold-out show at Caroline's on Broadway.
