Antonia Gorga Did Something at College Which Surprised Joe: "A Freaking [First]" (PIC)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter surprised her dad with one very special action at college this week.
Antonia Gorga's sophomore year of college at the University of Delaware is well underway. Although The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter is close to her parents, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga, she is still surprising them from one state away where she's attending school.
Joe took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, September 18, where he posted a screenshot from his latest FaceTime session with Antonia. He revealed that he was surprised to see his eldest child not studying, doing her homework, or hanging out with her friends on a Wednesday night, but instead spending time doing her dishes.
In the screenshot, Joe can be seen in the upper left-hand corner during a Facetime call, looking absolutely overjoyed to see Antonia, hard at work in the kitchen. Antonia, however, looked less than pleased to be hand-drying her bowl over the sink. Joe expressed his excitement to see his kid working hard in the caption of the post.
"Called to show her what we were eating for dinner and she was washing dishes!" Joe wrote over the photo, alongside the words "college life." "That's a freaking 1st!!"
It's unclear what Joe, Melissa, and Antonia's brothers Gino Gorga and Joey Gorga were eating for dinner. But, one thing is for sure — there is "no time for dirty dishes."
Inside Antonia Gorga's Sophomore Year Apartment
The kitchen isn't the only place that the 19-year-old has been spending her time in her self-proclaimed "it girl apartment." She took to her TikTok account earlier this month where she showed off the interior of her shared sophomore year apartment, complete with a cozy-looking gray couch with fun art prints overhead and a massive mirror in the living room for outfit pics.
Each bedroom is perfectly designed to fit Antonia's roommates' personalities, with her own sleeping space filled with pink accents and cozy touches. While she didn't show off her kitchen in this tour, every other bit of the apartment is so youthful and fun.
Why Melissa Gorga struggled to move Antonia Gorga into her apartment
But, moving Antonia into her first apartment wasn't an easy feat. In an Instagram Story posted to her account on Aug. 21, Melissa expressed her disbelief in celebrating "another milestone" with Antonia.
"We're all packed up and we're moving Antonia into her first-ever apartment," she explained in the video at the time. "Like, what is happening? I mean, she's gonna have to learn to cook for herself... She has her own bedroom. So this is all new. I don't even know how I have a 19-year-old child. I feel like I was just 19... another milestone."
Not only is Antonia cooking for herself, but she is also doing her own dishes. Yet another success for her sophomore year.
