Heather Dubrow Teases the Design of Her Beverly Hills Mansion: "Let the Construction Begin"

The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed her new property is "a departure" from her past homes.

By Cynthia Robinson

After selling her former house for $55 million in 2022, Heather Dubrow and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, bought a $16 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"This house, we're going to take down to the studs," Heather shared during The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 1. "But in the meantime, I threw some staged furniture in there, and we moved in."

In the video above, Heather spoke with BravoTV.com exclusively about where she and Terry are with their Beverly Hills home renovation — a process that is estimated to bring their running total of the home to around $32 million.

"This house that I'm doing is unlike any other home that I've done," Heather shared. "It's really a departure and I'm loving it. We just moved out and ... here we go!"

In addition to her conversation with BravoTV.com, Heather recently shared a series of Instagram photos and videos, starting with a clip of her empty Beverly Hills home.

"MOVED OUT! Let construction begin," Heather wrote in the caption of the post, which showcased the massive home that features an imperial staircase, multiple rooms, and a stunning pool and backyard view outside of the California landscape.

Moreover, on slide three, Heather showed off a few enormous marble slabs presumably in a warehouse that she was choosing to feature in the home. "Picking slabs for the new house," Heather wrote in the caption.

While the first slab pulled out featured brown, green, and blue markings, the second had lighter beige colors and blush tones. Heather didn't specify if she was going to use both slabs in her home or was choosing between the two.

Go inside Heather and Terry Dubrow's Los Angeles penthouse

While Heather and Terry's family wait for construction on the Beverly Hills home to be finished, they're currently "living in the sky" in a penthouse apartment in Los Angeles for part of the time.

"This whole apartment just feels very sexy to me," explained the actress of the Roberto Cavalli-designed abode, which has a "hidden" champagne room and some "spectacular" views. "It's really the best of L.A.," Heather stated in a video tour of the apartment you can watch here

On Season 18, Episode 4 of RHOC, Heather revealed she and Terry may have to take on a different home while waiting for renovation on their Beverly Hills house, considering the needs of their two kids still living with them.

"I would love to live in the penthouse while we're doing construction on the [new] house, but it's only two bedrooms. Ace and Kat are at ages where they need their own rooms," Heather explained on the episode, which aired on August 1. "It's literally the world's most expensive closet at this point."
