Why Heather & Terry Dubrow Aren’t Living in Their Penthouse: "World’s Most Expensive Closet”
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member explains why she and her husband won't make a full-time move into their massive Los Angeles apartment.
Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow have homes in different area codes — but luckily, they're mostly driving distance apart.
In a preview for Season 18, Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Orange County (you can watch it above!), we see Heather and Terry hanging out in their Los Angeles penthouse, which they purchased in 2022. While having a drink on the patio, they discuss their ongoing living debacle. Heather has found someone who wants to lease the apartment they own, but where will they go while they wait for their new Beverly Hills house to be done?
"I would love to live in the penthouse while we're doing construction on the [new] house, but it's only two bedrooms. Ace and Kat are at ages where they need their own rooms," explains Heather. "It's literally the world's most expensive closet at this point."
Although Heather may not feel it's the best place to reside full-time until their renovation is done, the penthouse feels like home to her and Terry. As they explain in the clip, Terry has made multiple "gym friends" and Heather showers and gets dressed there.

While the penthouse is only two bedrooms, the $16 million house in Beverly Hills that the couple is currently renovating will have room for everyone.
"This house, we're going to take down to the studs," Heather shared during Season 18, Episode 1. "But in the meantime, I threw some staged furniture in there, and we moved in."

Though it's not super practical for their family, Heather absolutely loves her penthouse. While giving BravoTV.com a tour of the space, she raved about the feeling of "living in the sky."
"This whole apartment just feels very sexy to me," explained the actress of the Roberto Cavalli-designed space, which features a "hidden room" and "spectacular" views.
