Heather Dubrow's youngest daughter is approaching a major milestone. And The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is in disbelief.
On Friday, October 3, Heather took a walk down memory lane in honor of Kat Dubrow’s 18th birthday. She posted an Instagram that included photos from the high school senior’s past birthday celebrations as well as a sweet message about Kat's future.
“How is it possible that this girl is turning 18 TOMORROW?!?!” Heather captioned the carousel. “[Kat Dubrow] I love you so much and I’m so proud to be your Mom! This is a huge year for you and I’m so excited to have a front row seat ! Happy Birthday Katty!!!! (Swipe for 18 years of celebrating Kat … where does the time go).”

The first slide showed Kat rocking an adorable plush tiara and a matching pink bib emblazoned with the No. 1. The following snaps were taken during subsequent birthday celebrations, which included a bouncy house, a Minnie Mouse party dress, a castle cake, balloon animals, as well as a few themed parties.
Heather’s early birthday tribute received more than 11,000 “likes” and over 100 comments as of Friday afternoon. One of the messages came from Heather’s husband and Kat’s dad, Dr. Terry Dubrow, who wrote: “My baby Kitty. Love you so much.”
Heather Dubrow sheds light on Kat's college plans
Although Kat kicked off her high school senior year only a few months ago, she’s already started the college application process. Heather confirmed this during a recent interview with BravoTV.com, saying her daughter planned to study filmmaking.
“So Kat is going to be a senior in high school. She wants to go to school for film, so she’s applying now,” Heather said before recognizing Kat’s impressive achievement. “The Academy, that does the Oscars, the Academy does a teen film series and her film got accepted into that, which is so exciting.”
Heather Dubrow shares updates on her twins Max and Nick
Elsewhere in the interview, Heather provided a few updates on her 20-year-old twins Nick and Max Dubrow, who just entered their third year in college.
“Max is studying psychology. She doesn’t know what she wants to do yet,” Heather said about her oldest daughter, who attends Tufts University in Boston. “Maybe law school. She also sings.”
Heather also revealed that Max and Nick would study abroad this year. The former will spend a semester in Paris, while the latter — a junior at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles — is currently studying in Florence.
“Nicky got his real estate license,” Heather continued. “He made his first sale. He interned with Josh Altman last year. And this year he’s working in production a little bit. He’s really just trying to get a flavor of all different careers and see what he loves.”
