Hannah Ferrier Shows the “Unfiltered Reality” of Life with a 2-Year-Old
The Below Deck Mediterranean alum also shared some “big news” about her family’s next moves.
Life on a luxury yacht is never dull — and neither is life with a 2-year-old. In a recent Instagram post, Hannah Ferrier shared an unfiltered update on her adorable daughter, Ava. And in another recent post, the Below Deck Mediterranean alum dropped some “big news” about what’s coming next for her and her family. Let’s just say, it all sounds like the happiest kind of chaos.
Hannah Ferrier shares “the unfiltered reality” of mom life
In an Instagram post from July 28, the former chief stew shared a carousel of photos depicting herself and little miss Ava Grace Roberts. (Ava was born in Australia back in 2020, and you can travel further back in time to hear Hannah dish on her pregnancy in the clip above.)
In the photos, both mom and daughter are dressed beautifully. Hannah wears a summery leopard-print dress and has sunglasses perched atop her blonde locks. Meanwhile, Ava is in a floral dress with ruffled sleeves and has her beautiful curls tied back. The outfits make for a perfect photo opportunity — if only both Hannah and Ava could both smile for the camera.
“The unfiltered reality of trying to take a photo with a 2-year-old,” Hannah quipped in her caption. The photos show a situation every parent can relate to: a kiddo looking everywhere but the camera. In the photos, Ava looks up, down, and to the side, and ultimately grabs her mama’s face for a loving squeeze.
In the final photo, the duo nails it: They’re both looking at the camera and smiling wide. And truthfully, even the blooper-reel pictures are precious.
Hannah Ferrier shares “big news”
It’s no wonder Hannah is grinning from ear to ear. Back in June, the former yachting pro teased big changes ahead for herself and her family.
“Life is about to change in a BIG way for me and my family. I’m super excited to share our new journey with you,” the native Australian teased in her caption.
By July 2, she returned to Instagram to share what that news is. And all we can say is ooh la la.
“BIG NEWS,” Hannah captioned her early-July post. “We’ve already had what feels like a lifetime of adventures together as a family but this one will [by] FAR be the biggest adventure of Ava’s life!! We are relocating to my second home in South of France for the next [four] months!!! There’s so many reasons we are doing this but the biggest by far is to create memories for our gorgeous family and show Ava Europe. She is growing up so so fast (I know you all told me this would happen!!) and we are ready to spread our wings and go and see what the world has to offer!!”
She concluded her caption, “I’m so excited to share this journey with you guys and I want to share the good, bad and ugly with you! Please tell me what you guys would be most interested in when it comes to traveling (alone at first!) with a toddler!”
