Hannah Ferrier’s life has changed over the past few years — and it’s about to shift again. In a recent Instagram post, the Below Deck Mediterranean alum teased some major news that will take her and her family on a new journey. And now our curiosity is officially piqued!
Hannah Ferrier teases “BIG” life changes
In a June 21 Instagram post, Hannah shared a series of photos. The pics themselves didn’t contain many clues. Hannah looked gorgeous (as usual) and she’d snapped a few mirror selfies because, well, she felt like it!
“When you’re feeling yourself even though you’re a mum and life isn’t the same anymore,” she wrote in her caption. The former chief stew was also having a glass of champagne and had a giddy smile on her face. She was in a celebratory mood then, but the photo wasn’t posted in real time.
“This photo was taken a few months ago when I was going out with some friends for a girls’ day,” Hannah wrote. Then she hinted at her big news. “Life is about to change in a BIG way for me and my family. I’m super excited to share our new journey with you,” the native Australian teased in her caption.
Hannah ended the post with a little love for her followers: “I know I don’t always get back to every message but I really appreciate every message you guys send and all the support,” she wrote. So what’s the big news? It will surely be delivered in due time.
Hannah’s life in Sydney
Shortly after announcing her pregnancy in 2020, the former chief stew moved into a new Sydney house with her then-boyfriend, Josh Roberts. The couple went about nesting, showing off peeks of their cheerful home base. They offered a look at the nursery for their daughter, Ava, and Hannah proved that she was feasting like a pampered charter guest in her own backyard.
In November 2020, the proud parents welcomed their baby girl. Hannah announced the happy news in a heartfelt Instagram post. “Madam has arrived!” she wrote. “Josh and I are so happy to welcome to the world our little girl — Ava Grace Roberts. Born on the 26th of October.”
Hannah cheekily added: “She is already a little menace that has captured our hearts forever.”
In March 2022, Hannah married Josh in a beautiful beachside ceremony in Sydney. Ava, who was then 16 months old, served as the flower girl on her parents’ special day.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at Hannah and Josh’s home in Sydney. Some familiar faces from Below Deck Med were on hand to help Hannah celebrate, including Season 4 stew Anastasia Surmava.
