Gina Kirschenheiter Opens Up About Co-Parenting with Her Ex-Husband
The RHOC mom shared a major update on her relationship with her ex.
Gina Kirschenheiter is revealing where her relationship with her ex currently stands. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently opened up about co-parenting with her former husband, confirming that the two have reached a good place following their divorce in early 2019.
"It took us a long time to get here, but you really rock [coparenting]. We are very good coparents and we have a very open dialogue and we talk all the time about the kids,” Gina told Us Weekly in a recent interview, adding, “We felt like it was the happiest, healthiest thing for the kids.”
The two currently alternate weeks with their three children — son Nicholas, 8, daughter Sienna, 6, and son Luca, 5 — and even live down the road from each other. “It’s very convenient, you know?” Gina said, adding that her ex has already extended an invitation for her to join them on Thanksgiving.
As confirmed back in September, Gina's ex-husband will make his first appearance on the current season of RHOC, as the show chronicles their relationship after their split.
Gina’s boyfriend Travis Mullen, whom she started dating last fall, will also be featured this season. The two moved in together, along with their combined six kids, in February, although Gina says they’re not talking marriage just yet.
"We don't talk [about that]," she said in a recent phone interview with The Daily Dish. "Honestly, I'm just really happy."
