Teddi Mellencamp has found a way to "feel better" amid her divorce from Edwin Arroyave.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who announced her separation from the entrepreneur on November 3, took to her Instagram Stories two days later to reveal how she's been doing in the wake of her split.
"No matter what all of us are going through, there is one certain: moving your body, raising your heart rate, having a little sweat, and taking care of yourself is going to make you feel better," Teddi shared while wearing a light blue workout set and running on the treadmill.
"This is why accountability is key, and I'm so appreciative [of] my team at Go All In for holding me accountable to my goals of moving my body, so I can be the best for my family, for my work, for my life," she continued, plugging her accountability coaching business. "I know that I can do it, and I'm not alone..."
Why is Teddi Mellencamp getting a divorce?
On the November 5 episode of her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi explained that she won't be publicly sharing any details about her divorce. "At this point, I'm obviously only going to share what I shared on social media, and I just am trying — I don't even know how to say this eloquently — but I am just trying my hardest to make sure that my kids’ privacy is protected right now," she said.
As for why she released a public statement, Teddi said, "it’s because when your name is recognizable and you file in the court system, it becomes public."
Teddi also noted that she is "going to keep working on feeling [her] best so that [she] can show up the best for [her] kids and [her] life and [her] work."
"And yeah, I mean, I think that’s the biggest thing for me right now," she said.
Are Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave still married?
The mom of three announced her separation from Edwin on November 3. Per E! News, she officially filed for divorce on November 1.
Teddi's separation announcement read: "After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter. Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward."
