Garcelle Beauvais Is Set to Be a Grandma Again: "So Exciting"
The RHOBH cast member confirmed her oldest son, Oliver Saunders, is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Shantei Paranada.
Garcelle Beauvais’ family is about to get a little bigger.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom announced the news via Instagram this week when she shared a celebratory post from her oldest son, Oliver Saunders. The June 28 Instagram Story showed the Nevada dad standing in the desert with a sign that read, “Baby Girl.” Oliver confirmed that the snap was taken during an intimate event in which he and his girlfriend, Shantei Paranada, learned they were expecting a daughter together.
The couple posted a video that showed pink firecrackers exploding in the sky before a smiling Shantei showed off her growing baby bump. They then revealed the baby girl’s name: Valley Marie-Claire Saunders, a tribute to Shantei’s grandmother.

Days before announcing their baby’s sex, Oliver and Shantei shared footage of the exact moment they learned about the pregnancy. The clip captured the two looking at a test strip, which showed a positive result. Oliver immediately embraced his girlfriend before letting out a gleeful scream.
“Iv been walking on [a cloud] since we found out!” Oliver wrote in the comments section. “I love you with all my heart and i can’t wait for our child to be born! You Make Me The Happiest Iv Ever Been!!! We Just Getting started.”
The post also included Shantei’s sonogram and the baby’s expected arrival: January 2025.
Garcelle took to the comments section to write, “So exciting,” followed by a kissy face emoji.
Oliver Saunders and his girlfriend share a look at their prenatal appointment
Oliver and Shantei also posted clips from their trip to the doctor’s office, where the expectant mother underwent an ultrasound and a blood test to confirm the baby’s sex.
The baby girl will mark Garcelle’s second grandchild, as Oliver already shares a 4-year-old son, Oliver Saunders Jr., with his ex-wife, Samantha Saunders. Shantei also entered the relationship with two daughters, 3-year-old Siena and 4-year-old Sundae.

Oliver and Shantei discussed their growing family in an upcoming episode of the former’s Bigger Than Us podcast.
“I’ve heard horror stories on how it’s hard to blend a family and make sure everybody gets along,” Shantei said in an episode preview. “With us, it’s been the most easiest experience I’ve ever, ever, ever dealt with. My children love you. I love OJ. You love my kids. It’s all perfect. It couldn’t have happened in an easier way. [The kids] get along. They also respect each other’s space. We have girl-time and you guys have boy-time with grandpa.”
The podcast episode is set to premiere on July 1.
