Grandmotherhood still looks great on Garcelle Beauvais.
After returning home from a New York City business trip, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member spent some time with her oldest son, Oliver Saunders Sr., and her first grandchild, Oliver Saunders Jr. Garcelle documented the happy reunion on social media this week, sharing an adorable photoshoot she had with the toddler.
The Instagram carousel included five snapshots that showed Garcelle holding the 3-year-old boy in her arms, as they both looked at the camera with contagious smiles. The RHOBH mom allowed the photos to do most of the talking, as her caption simply read: “My little [Oliver Junior],” followed by a series of blue heart emojis.
Naturally, the post was flooded with gushing comments from celebrities like Holly Robinson Peete and Alex Meneses; as well as a few Bravolebrities, including The Real Housewives of New York City alum Eboni K. Williams, The Real Housewives of Dubai's Chanel Ayan, as well as RHOBH’s Crystal Kung Minkoff and Sutton Stracke.
Garcelle Beauvais' Fun Outing with Oliver Jr.
As shown on Oliver Sr.’s Instagram page, he and his son traveled to Los Angeles on Monday, September 18, and returned to their Las Vegas home on Friday, September 22. Although it was relatively short, the SoCal getaway appeared to be quite eventful, as it included a beach day as well as some sightseeing with Garcelle.
On September 20, Oliver Sr. shared a few pictures from their trip to Griffith Observatory, which offered breathtaking views of the city. The Instagram post showed the family posing together against a scenic backdrop, and featured several snaps of Little Oliver making his way through the iconic landmark.
What has Oliver Jr. been up to this summer?
It seemed like a terrific ending to Oliver Jr.’s fun-filled — and educational — summer. Back in July, Garcelle uploaded several Instagram Stories that shed more light on how the little one was spending the warm-weather months. She confirmed Oliver Jr. was already taking Spanish lessons and was learning how to swim.
“Nothing is sweeter than watching my grandson Oliver Junior learn to swim and he loves the water,” she wrote in one of the posts.
Garcelle Beauvais introduces her first grandchild
Garcelle welcomed her grandson in early 2020, the same year she made her RHOBH debut. The award-winning actress announced the happy arrival with a precious Instagram photo that showed her embracing Oliver Sr. as he held his newborn.
“Introducing my grandson [Oliver Junior],” she captioned the February 2020 post, “Its Oliver’s birthday but I received an amazing gift… so full of love what should my grandma name be???”
