Fredrik Eklund Sells His NYC Pad
After two years on the market, the #MDLNY star's Chelsea condo is sold.
Fredrik Eklund has sold his three bedroom, 2.5 bath condo for a reported $3.12 million after two years on the market.
In May 2013, Frederick first listed his condo for $3.25 million. The unit, which the Million Dollar Listing New York broker shared with his husband Derek Kaplan and their miniature dachshund Fritzy, is in Manhattan's coveted Chelsea neighborhood.
But when Fredrik, The Real Deal magazine's 2014 #1 New York City agent, still hadn't closed a deal this January, he lowered his asking price and listed the condo to $2.99 million.
"How about this stunner?" Fredrik asked on Instagram in a caption for the minimalist condo with exposed beams, hardwood floors and tons of built-in shelving. "It's a personal favorite," read the post. "Those beams and windows! Wedged between beautiful Madison Sq Park and the Chelsea Gallery District."
According to the New York Post, the condo at 144 W. 27th Street was sold to Time Inc. executive Evelyn Webster.
