Fredrik Eklund Just Bought the Dreamiest New York City Pad
The #MDLNY broker is the proud owner of another multi-million dollar apartment.
Have your high kicks ready. Fredrik Eklund just purchased a new home fit for a fabulous Million Dollar Listing New York broker like himself.
Fredrik bought a 46th-floor duplex in the 1 Seaport tower in Manhattan's Financial District, the New York Post reports. The unit went into contract in February and was last asking $4.6 million. Fredrik was also one of the listing brokers on the property.
The 1,938-square-foot pad has two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the New York Post. Each level also has its own outdoor space, as well as floor-to-ceiling glass windows, white oak floors, custom millwork and solid wood doors, a chef's kitchen, and a master suite with a spa-like bath, the listing describes, as reported by the New York Post.
The building, which is the first all-glass residential tower in the South Street Seaport area, has amenities that are just as drool-worthy. There's a fitness center with studios for spin, yoga, and training, a pool, a spa, a steam room, all with waterfront views. So basically, Fredrik now has a spot in the dreamiest building in New York.
Fredrik moved into another breathtaking abode last year with his husband, Derek Kaplan, in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood. "It's just something we've been working on for a long time and years in the making," the MDLNY agent told The Daily Dish in May 2016. "We bought that [as] new construction and then the building took a while to be finished. We had the first dinner party last night, I had my birthday dinner. I had six of my closest friends over, and I looked around the table and looked around the apartment, and for the very first time in my life, I felt I'm living in my dream home."
Fredrik will team up with another real estate enthusiast, friend and Real Housewives of New York City cast member Bethenny Frankel, in the upcoming new series, The Bethenny and Fredrik Project (working title), Bravo announced last week. The two will work together to scout, buy, and design multi-million dollar properties in the hopes of flipping them for a big payout.
