Fraser Olender Reacts to Cat Baugh Leaving Below Deck: "I Can't Take on Another Job"
The chief stew revealed his grievances about the Below Deck newbie's premature exit from St. David.
Cat Baugh decided to leave Below Deck on Season 11, Episode 7, after struggling to find her place on the boat and getting a serious phone call from a friend back home.
"On this boat, I'm at a breaking point. I need to protect my mental health," Cat said in her final interview of the season. "It's like my support system is at home, not here."
Now, Cat's crewmates are facing struggles of their own: how to manage St. David after not only her departure but also with the departure of bosun Jared Woodin, who was fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge.
Fraser Olender reacts to Cat Baugh leaving St. David on Below Deck Season 11
Following his crewmates' exits on Episode 7, which aired on March 18, Chief Stew Fraser Olender expressed his discontent with the situation during Episode 8 as he was prompted to assist "disorganized" Chef Anthony Iracane.
"Chef is brilliant, and we vibe! But ... I'm concerned because of cleanliness," Fraser stated in a confessional interview about Anthony's disheveled kitchen. "I'm definitely feeling a stew down. I can't take on another job, and I feel like that's what I'm doing at the moment."

Later, during the crew night out, Fraser shared his grievances with the interior team, aka Barbara "Barbie" Pascual and Xandi Olivier. "I love [Anthony], but I feel like I'm doing too much for what really is expected and I need to talk to him personally and say, 'Enough is enough."
Why did Cat Baugh leave Below Deck Season 11?
During the first crew night out, Cat opened up to Fraser about not fitting in with the rest of the crew. Additionally, she faced conflict with fellow stew Barbie, causing her to rethink her place on the boat further.
Moreover, Cat received a troubling phone call from a friend, causing her to pack up her things and head back home.
"I wish I could have stayed. But, the thing is, there's no way I could have," Cat said in her final interview. "This is too much. I need to be with the people [who] need me."
Cat Baugh reflects on her experience on Below Deck
Following Episode 7 which showed her departure from St. David, Cat took to Instagram to reflect on her experience.
"Lil piece of a book I’m reading shares, 'When working through ways of solving a puzzle there are no mistakes. Each unsuccessful solution gets you closer to one that works[.] Avoid becoming attached to the particulars of the problem. Widen your field of view. If the idea takes the project somewhere with a stronger energetic charge, follow the new direction,'" Cat shared. "'Demanding to control a work of art would be just as foolish as demanding that an oak tree grow, according to your well, allow the work to grow in the direction it seeks, evolve in accordance with its natural state, and have its own life.'"
