What Cat Baugh's Been Up to Since She Left Below Deck Season 11
Of her decision to leave Below Deck, Cat Baugh noted that "the universe never explains why."
After struggling to find her place on St. David and following a serious phone call from a friend, Cat Baugh decided to leave Below Deck on Season 11, Episode 7.
"I wish I could have stayed. But, the thing is, there's no way I could have," Cat said in her final interview of the season. "This is too much. I need to be with the people [who] need me, and also, on this boat, I'm at a breaking point. I need to protect my mental health. It's like my support system is at home, not here."
Since she left the vessel, Cat has been spending time with her loved ones, she's been reflecting on her Below Deck Season 11 experience — and she has a new boyfriend.

Cat Baugh reflects on her Below Deck Season 11 experience
After Cat decided to leave the St. David crew behind, she reflected on her Below Deck experience on Instagram.
She shared a video of her sitting on deck with castmate Kyle Stillie, and she opened up about her decision to exit the vessel.
"Something I’ve learned in life is the universe never explains why," she began in the caption of a post, before sharing a quote that has recently spoken to her.
"Lil piece of a book I’m reading shares, 'When working through ways of solving a puzzle there are no mistakes. Each unsuccessful solution gets you closer to one that works[.] Avoid becoming attached to the particulars of the problem. Widen your field of view. If the idea takes the project somewhere with a stronger energetic charge, follow the new direction,'" Cat continued. "'Demanding to control a work of art would be just as foolish as demanding that an oak tree grow, according to your well, allow the work to grow in the direction it seeks, evolve in accordance with its natural state, and have its own life.'"
