Dennis McKinley Shows Us What His Life as a Dad to PJ Looks Like Today
The RHOA dad provided an adorable update on his and Porsha Williams' 4-year-old daughter.
Dennis McKinley has shared another glimpse at his co-parenting life.
On Saturday, October 21, The Real Housewives of Atlanta dad posted the cutest photo of him and Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley — the 4-year-old daughter he shares with his ex-fiancée, Porsha Williams. The Instagram photo was a screenshot of Dennis’ video conversation with the little girl, whose joyful smile was on full display.
“Name a better duo!” he captioned the post. “McKinley 1&2.”
The update came just two months after Dennis and Porsha accompanied PJ to her first day of school. The former couple shared an Instagram video that documented the fun-filled day, which included playtime with toy animals, some coloring, and a delicious-looking lunch with mom and dad.
“Yay 1st Day Of School was a total success !!” Porsha wrote in the August 16 post. “We are so proud of our little munchkin. Goo Pilar Gooo.”
“First day of school,” Dennis captioned the same video, followed by the hashtags “Porsha Junior” and “Girl Dad.”

Porsha and Dennis first got engaged back in 2018, shortly before PJ was born. The two called it quits in 2019 following Dennis’ infidelity, but reconciled several months later and got re-engaged. Porsha and Dennis’ on-again, off-again relationship was explored on RHOA as well as its spinoff, Porsha’s Family Matters.
The exes split for good in 2020, the same year Porsha met Simon Guobadia, the Nigeran-American businessman who proposed to the Atlanta mom in May of 2021. Porsha announced the engagement via Instagram, and Dennis immediately made it clear he had no hard feelings.
“Congrats P!” he commented on Porsha’s Mother’s Day post. “Cheers to your next chapter!”

Since marrying Simon nearly a year ago, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip mom has maintained a healthy relationship with PJ’s dad. She touched on the topic during the June 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, after the eponymous host asked for an update on Dennis.
“It’s going great, it really is,” Porsha said about their relationship. “Yeah, we live near each other. Our relationship is good. We have a great family.”
While Simon has five children from previous relationships, Porsha only has PJ; however, the RHOA alum has repeatedly expressed her desire to expand their blended family.
“You are a beautiful man with an even more beautiful spirit and I couldn’t have ask [sic] for a better man of the house than you,” she wrote to Simon June 2 Instagram post. “Hopefully God sees fit to expand our lil family in the future. I hope you know that I will love you and be by your side in this life and the next. Love youuuuu -Porsha aka your Peace lol.”
