Captain Glenn Reveals the One Thing the Crew Did in Season 2 That Was "Not Cool at All"

Captain Glenn Shephard is known for usually being calm, cool, and collected. Even on the rare occasion that he's not, like during the biggest crash in Below Deck history earlier this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, it doesn't take long for him to bounce back to being the ever-so-cheerful fearless leader of the Parsifal III crew.

However, Captain Glenn didn't hesitate to express his disapproval of some of his crew's behavior during his latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 14, as you can see in the above clip.

In particular, the captain was really not happy to see that the guests overheard the crew talking about them on two separate occasions during the second-to-last charter of the season. "That's not cool at all because it's not discreet, and we're meant to be. It's unfortunate," Captain Glenn said. "I don't think there was anything really malicious or bad meant by it, but still, we have to be better than that."

Something else that Captain Glenn only saw later was how often Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux spent time in the guest cabins during the crew's nights off, which is a big no-no in yachting, as we've seen on Below Deck in the past. "I wouldn't say it pissed me off. I was a little bit surprised, but under the circumstances, we have to adapt. Like, if it was the same situation they were gonna go off or could go off to a hotel, I wouldn't say anything. It's on their own time," Captain Glenn said on WWHL. "It's not cool, but it's not the end of the world."

But in general, when it comes to later watching his crew party and hook up as the episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht air, Captain Glenn has a pretty laissez-faire attitude. "I don't see everything, obviously. I don't see everything all the time. But that's pretty much yachting. There's a lot of drinking, and there's a lot of hooking up," Captain Glenn shared during the WWHL After Show. "Obviously, we don't tolerate drinking when we're working, when we have guests on board, but when we're letting off steam in between charters, yeah, it's part of the industry. And hooking up is the same. We're working close quarters. Good-looking people, you know, I mean, it happens."
