Here's Why João Franco Says "It’s Time to Hit the Hard Reset Button" in His Life
The Below Deck Med alum just shared an update on his life today and what he hopes to do next.
As it turns out, João Franco's life these days is filled with time spent on the water in his current role as a Captain in his yachting career and sweet time spent with his longtime girlfriend, Domi Tiesi. But, as it turns out, 2024 hasn't been all smooth sailing for the Below Deck Mediterranean alum. He opened up about his rolloercoaster of a year in a recent Instagram post where he also showed love for his girlfriend and teased a bit of his future plans amid those ups and downs.
"What a year it has been. So many ups and a fair amount of downs. Being onboard for 280 days without going home has been killing me slowly and now it’s time to hit the hard reset button," he posted in early November. "I am so glad and lucky to have had this beautiful lady by my side through it all. I haven’t been easy, that is for sure! And so I would like to post this in appreciation for Domi. Thank you for being by my side and seeing the good in me even when I cannot see it in myself. Now bring on the holidays!!!!!!!"
Which Below Deck Yachties Does João Franco keep in touch with?
More recently, it looks like he's hung out with Mzi "Zee" Dempers — and Captain Glenn Shephard is hoping to get in some hang time with Joao on dry land.
"Hey you guys, Let’s try to catch up in Palma this winter. Danelis and I want to hear all of what you’ve been up to since we last saw you," the Captain commented on João's recent post. Take care, Glenn."
