Are Gina and Travis Still Together after RHOC Season 18?
After moving out of their shared home, Gina Kirschenheiter revealed a major update on her relationship with Travis Mullen.
Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen may be nearing their five-year dating anniversary, but the two are taking a major step back in their relationship.
On The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 premiere, which aired on July 11, Gina opened up about how she wanted to live apart from her live-in boyfriend. As fans may recall, Gina and Travis — who each have three kids of their own — moved in together shortly after they began dating. But as Travis continues to navigate a complicated split from his ex, Gina wants some space.
The Long Island native understood she needed to make a change in her relationship, but some of her castmates were a bit skeptical — and they're worried that it's the beginning of the end for Gina and Travis.
However, Gina confirmed that her and Travis' relationship is still going strong on Instagram after RHOC Season 18 had wrapped filming.

Gina and her beau just took a trip to Mexico to celebrate a pal's 40th birthday. She commemorated the special vacation with a video she shared on Instagram on July 8.
"[Travis] and I had the absolute most amazing time celebrating our dear friend [Lisa Rogers'] 40th birthday this past week in [Puerto Vallarta] !!" Gina wrote in the caption, before confirming that she is still on her sobriety journey. "Despite not getting tipsy…. I still managed to have the most fun I’ve had in a while! Thank you friends for the epic trip!!!"
A few days earlier, Gina posted a carousel of photos from the trip, including one of her cozied up to her longtime beau.
Prior to that, just a few weeks before their trip, Gina paid tribute to Travis in honor of Father's Day.
"I love you Travis Mullen," she wrote in an Instagram caption. "[Thank you] for being a rock for your children always and for showing them your love has no boundaries. For staying true to the course despite enduring things no parent should ever be put through. You are a true example. And obviously, thank you for being the best bonus dad EVER."
Why don't Gina and Travis live together anymore?
As Gina explained on the RHOC Season 18 premiere, Travis' ongoing divorce is putting a strain on their relationship — and their living situation. "I feel like in my home it's me, Travis, six kids, and Travis's baggage," Gina explained in an interview on the episode. "And it's too much."
Plus, as her three kids — Sienna, Nicholas, and Luca — have gotten older, they need more space.
"They need privacy," Gina explained, noting that Travis' three kids are also in the same predicament. "We went and we looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can't afford it. Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land."
Though Gina felt like the right move was to live apart from Travis, she recognized that it could lead to the demise of their relationship.
"I don't ever want to break his heart, and I don't want to live without him. But I know inside that if I don't try this, then I'm going to lose him," she said in an interview. "It sucks."
