Kim Zolciak Gives an Update on Her Relationship with Chet Hanks: "There Are No Words..."

Kim Zolciak-Biermann continues to fuel dating rumors with Tom Hank’s son.
On Wednesday, November 13, the Don’t Be Tardy mom took fans inside her fun-filled night with Chet Hanks, an actor/musician she met while filming Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets. Kim posted several photos and videos of her and her former castmate at a Jelly Roll concert alongside her realtor friend Jenny Doyle.

Kim and Chet were all smiles as they hung out in the floor VIP section just feet from the country artist. They also got the chance to go backstage to meet Jelly Roll and his wife, Alyssa DeFord, aka Bunnie XO.
“Had the best time with [Jelly Roll] and his beautiful wifey [Bunnie XO],” Kim captioned the carousel. “So fun much with [Chet Hanks]. One of my absolute favorite concerts and everyone that was/is part of this massive operation is beyond kind. There are no words for the happiness and joy that surrounded us all that night. I saw a whole lot of sparkle in the crowd.”
Kim shares details on her connection with Chet
Kim and Chet sparked romance rumors earlier this year after becoming close and flirty on the Surreal Life. Although the two have continued to play coy on the subject, they’ve made their fondness for one another quite clear. Kim addressed the speculation during a July interview with E! News, just days before the season premiere.
“I think Chet is great,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum said. “He’s just a great guy and we had some very deep conversations that you’ll see. You have to stay tuned and see what happens.”
Chet says he's open to dating Kim and moving to Georgia
Chet, who is also the son of actress Rita Wilson, was pressed on the dating rumors about two months later, saying he and Kim were “really good friends.”
“Would you date Kim?” Page Six asked him at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. “Are you open to it?"
“Yeah. Why not?” Chet said, adding he would “absolutely” move to Kim’s home state of Georgia. “I’m living in Nashville now, so it’s not that far… One of the best moments of my life was meeting Kim Zolciak.”
Kim splits from her husband, Kroy Biermann
In May 2023, Kim and Kroy Biermann filed for divorce after nearly 12 years of marriage. They called off the split just a couple of months later, only for Kim to refile in August.
During their marriage, the estranged couple welcomed four children together: 11-year-old son Kroy “KJ” Jagger, 10-year-old son Kash, and 9-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. Kroy also adopted Kim’s oldest daughters, Brielle and Ariana, in 2013.
