Melissa & Joe Gorga Struggle During Antonia's Apartment Move-in Day: "What the Hell?"
The RHONJ parents shared an inside look at their daughter's "first ever" apartment near the University of Delaware.
The struggle was real for the Gorga clan.
Fresh off their family vacation to Southern Italy, Melissa and Joe Gorga headed off to Delaware to help their daughter, Antonia, settle in for college. However, this move was much different from last year's, as Antonia had opted to live in an off-campus apartment rather than the University of Delaware dorms.

Melissa reflected on the milestone in an August 21 Instagram video that was filmed during her and Antonia’s road trip.
“It’s that time of year: Time to head back to college and look who’s driving me there,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom said before turning the camera toward Antonia. “This time, though, we’re not going to the dorms. We’re all packed up and we’re moving Antonia into her first-ever apartment. Like, what is happening? I mean, she’s gonna have to learn how to cook for herself… She has her own bedroom. So this is all new. I don’t even know how I have a 19-year-old child. I feel like I was just 19… Another milestone.”

Once they arrived at the apartment, the mother and daughter began assembling some bedroom furniture alongside Joe. And, let’s just say, it wasn’t the smoothest experience. Joe demonstrated this in a series of Instagram Stories, which showed the family struggling to put a bed frame together.
“We’re moving Antonia in and we’re putting this bed together,” Joe said before teasing his daughter. “You, Antonia, you better get out of here! Just get the hell out of here! She’s looking at it like, ‘That looks crooked. It’s crooked!’”
“It is crooked!” Antonia shouted back, as Melissa sat on the floor with a screw in hand.
“Reading these directions. These suck!” Joe continued. “I can’t stand it. We’re on this for, like, an hour.”
Although Melissa was clearly exhausted, she seemed determined to get the bed set up.
“This is crazy,” she said. “I can’t believe we’re doing this. There’s a million screws.”

Joe returned to Instagram shortly after to reveal the fully assembled bed frame; however, the work was far from over. The video captured Melissa trying to build a bedroom side table, much to Joe and Antonia’s disbelief.
“Look at this girl!” Joe said, before Antonia playfully added, “She’s doing something? What the hell?”
“She’s losing it,” Joe said with a laugh. “See how much [your mom] loves you?”
Melissa shares an update on Antonia's college journey
Antonia is now heading into her sophomore year at the University of Delaware, where she is eyeing several areas of study. Melissa previously told BravoTV.com that her firstborn had yet to select a major, but was interested in “media,” “communications," and marketing.
“She loves marketing,” the Jersey mom said. “So she’s dabbling in all three. I do think she’s leaning towards marketing, believe it or not… So that works. We can use all the marketing we can get in our family.”
