After nine months of dating, Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are officially engaged. To celebrate the momentous occasion, The Real Housewives of Orange County friend took to Instagram on August 28 to share the news and show off a stunning diamond engagement ring in the process.
"On Cloud 9, celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you," Alexis captioned the post where she put her massive ring on display.
In the photo, Alexis, who wore a sleek black midi dress and showed off her large, cushion-cut diamond ring as she smiled in joyful surprise at her beau. "Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes," she continued in her Instagram caption.
Though we could only see the outline and shape of the ring in that photo, Alexis shared a closer shot of the dazzling piece in another Instagram series of photos and videos shared a few hours later.
In the last slide of the post, Alexis snapped a selfie with John and held up her hand to show off the details of her jewelry. The giant cushion-cut diamond appeared to be bordered by a halo of smaller diamonds and situated on a silver band.
Inside John Janssen's Proposal to Alexis Bellino
As you can see in the Instagram series above, John's proposal came amid his and Alexis' anniversary trip at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara.
"Our 9 month anniversary was already perfection but became even more perfect when [John] proposed last night!!!" Alexis exclaimed in the caption of the post, which documented the gorgeous, sunny getaway for their trip. The California mom also revealed how the vacation home featured a jacuzzi situated in a serene backyard and garden and that she and John were treated to a bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion.
"My hair was frizzy, my nails are NOT DONE!!!! And my outfit was sub par. BUT the moment was pure perfection," Alexis concluded her post. "In the most exclusive, secluded, intimate, loving, moment."

Before announcing their couple status in December 2023, Alexis and John's past relationships were previously featured on RHOC.
After becoming a couple, Alexis and John have been open about blending their families, as Alexis is the mother of twins, Miles and Mackenna, and son, James, while John has three adult children from a previous marriage.
"We've acclimated all of our families together, including dogs," Alexis told The Daily Dish in July. "We are moving in a direction of being in it for the long haul. So, it's exciting."
