Alexis Drops Bombshell About John Backstage at Reunion: “The Truth Has Not Been Out”
Alexis Bellino shed new light on her relationship before even stepping on the soundstage for the RHOC Season 18 reunion.
It's no secret that Alexis Bellino and John Janssen's relationship was a huge topic of conversation during Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Unsurprisingly, the pair continued to make waves during the Season 18 reunion as well.
During Part 2 of the three-part special, which aired Thursday, November 14, Alexis made a confession about her fiancé ... before even stepping onto the actual soundstage.
"Honest to God, I don't want to fight. And I just want to go out and speak the truth," Alexis said while chatting with Tamra Judge in her trailer before joining the group. "I'm not gonna bring him up. But they're going to continue with the lies, and I'm going to have to defend him because he doesn't have a voice. Shannon [Storms Beador] has had a voice for four years and he's kept quiet. The truth has not been out there. Nope, the truth has not been out there. The truth has not been shown."
Alexis Bellino Reacts to Claims That She's John Janssen's "Mouthpiece"
Tamra advised Alexis to try not to speak on behalf of John during the reunion. However, according to Alexis, if John had "never been lied about" she wouldn't have to speak on his behalf to begin with.
The subject came up again shortly after Alexis joined the group on stage. During a heated conversation between Alexis and Shannon about Shannon's legal drama with John, Alexis declared, "You gotta go back to your emails and check the truth because you have a really strange relationship with the truth."
Referencing a RHOC confessional in which John similarly stated that "Shannon has an interesting relationship with the truth," Emily Simpson declared, "That's exactly what John said...verbatim," and Gina Kirschenheiter added, "That was his line."
Shannon then yelled at Alexis to "stop being John's mouthpiece," to which she responded, "I have to because you're lying."
Shannon Storms Beador Gives an Update on Legal Drama with John Janssen
Alexis and Shannon continued their heated discussion regarding the lawsuit between Shannon and John. (During the season, Shannon revealed John sued her for $75,000 he apparently gave her for a facelift when they were in a relationship. The two have since been disputing whether this was a loan or a gift.)
"We're still waiting to hear from John's response," Shannon shared. "He lowered it to $70,000 and I agreed because I know my legal cost will be more than $70,000. And that's a really hard thing for me to do, but I said I would give him the $70,000, and he wouldn't sign a mutual non-disparage agreement."
