Hours after announcing her engagement to Jake ZingermanThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter gave fans an inside look at the night of the proposal. Alexia documented the evening in a November 8 TikTok video, which began with her and her longtime beau enjoying a meal at Los Angeles’ Found Oyster.

“What started off as a typical (yet, always special) date night… Turned into the most beautiful night of my life,” she captioned the video.

The footage showed Alexia and Jake sharing seafood dishes and a few drinks before returning to their cozy abode. But, unbeknownst to Alexia, the night was far from over.

Good food. Our home decorated by my best friends. Our baby in a bow tie. Surrounded by our friends and family. Champagne and comfy clothes… The answer is and always has been “yes.” 🩵

When Alexia stepped into the home, she was greeted by a beautiful, romantic setup. Dozens of floral arrangements and floating candles illuminated the entire first floor, including the back patio. The winding staircase was also covered with green garland and sweet throwback pictures of the couple. Alexia credited the design to her good friend, Shelby Mo.

“A moment for the set up [By Shelby Mo],” Alexia captioned an Instagram Story. “And a special few that helped put this together… you know who you are. I love you. Thank you.”

Shortly after the proposal, the couple hosted an intimate house party with friends and family, including Alexia’s little sister Sophia Umansky. Guests were treated to food, Champagne, dancing, and a little blue cake that read, “Sashimi’s Parents Are Getting Married.” Sashimi, of course, is Alexia and Jake’s kitten, who donned a bow tie for the special night.

“Good food. Our home decorated by my best friends. Our baby in a bow tie,” Alexia captioned the video. “Surrounded by our friends and family. Champagne and comfy clothes… The answer is and always has been ‘yes.’”

What do Alexia's parents, Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky, think of Jake?

Alexia and Jake have known each other since grade school but didn’t start dating until 2019. Alexia’s mom, Kyle Richards, gushed over the relationship in a June 4 Amazon Live stream.

“Alexia has been friends with Jake since second grade — best friends — but they’ve been dating for four years, almost five years now,” she said. “They are a very, very, very cute couple and they’re great together. And we just love him so much.”

Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, made similar comments back in 2022, saying he approved of his daughter's relationship.

“Alexia’s got a boyfriend that’s been around for a long, long time,” he told Us Weekly. “He’s awesome. We love him.”
