Alexia Nepola Has Mixed Feelings About Her New Apartment: See Inside
After searching for a new home, The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and her family have settled into a gorgeous apartment.
On Season 6, Episode 11 of The Real Housewives of Miami, Alexia Nepola and her son Frankie went to check out a potential new apartment as they searched for a new rental home in a very limited amount of time.
Although the $45,000-per-month apartment they visited was jaw-dropping, Alexia had some concerns, including smaller bedrooms, smaller closets, and, most importantly, ensuring Frankie would be safe there. The apartment was 4,000 square feet, which Alexia noted, "is like a third [of the space]" of their former apartment, which you can see in the video above. Later, she added, "It's just too small for us."
Still, Alexia considered, "This can work for a year."

As Alexia revealed in the Season 6 finale, she ultimately decided to move there. "It's official: We just moved into my new apartment," she said in an interview during the episode, which aired on February 21. "If we would've had more time, we would've picked something else."
"We had to take this place," she continued, "because there were no other options that could work out for us."

Alexia Nepola's former apartment
As the video above shows, Alexia and Todd Nepola's 10,000-square-foot former apartment had a private garage and massive balcony, among other amazing features. On Season 6, Episode 9 of RHOM, Alexia explained why the couple unexpectedly had to move out.
"We have been renting for the last six years, and, unfortunately, the owner decided to sell his apartment, and he sold it really quick because I made it so beautiful," she said. "And now I need to move out."
While talking to her sons, Frankie and Peter, about the move, she shared, "That's why we have to move out, because we rent. We didn't buy the unit."
"Todd doesn't think it's a good financial decision to buy an apartment," she added. "He likes to buy commercial property."
Alexia admitted she was "in denial" about the situation, explaining, "We thought [the owner] would extend our lease for, like, three months, and then we would have more time. But that didn't happen. So, you know, those are the negatives of not owning your place."
