Aesha Scott Reveals Her and Scotty's Latest Home Renovation Plans: "That's It Really"
The Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie and fiancé Scott Dobson are making some changes to their New Zealand house.
Aesha Scott is used to whipping the cabins of Mustique into shape while serving as chief stew on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that she is doing the same to her own home in New Zealand that she shares with her fiancé, Scott "Scotty" Dobson.
Aesha took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she detailed all of the plans for the work she's doing to the house. Although it's not super intense or extensive, it's enough to keep Aesha and Scotty occupied before planning their wedding. In the video, Aesha explained that she had taken a pilates class and got coffee with a friend before starting her laborious task.
"I'm gonna hurry Scott along because we're gonna look at some carpets," she said in the video. "The three rooms in our house, we're just gonna do [with carpet]. Scott's gonna paint, and then we're gonna do carpet, and new curtains. And then that's it. That's it really."
Aesha's facial expressions from the Instagram Story (above) basically sum up her feelings about having to complete such tasks. But they're very close to completing their projects.
"We bought an outdoor lounge the other day, so once we've finished all of those things, then everything is done that we wanted to do in our house, and then we can just sit back and enjoy our summer!" she exclaimed.
Aesha and Scotty's living room is already complete. Aesha took to her Instagram Story in late September, where she showed off the "sunken lounge" part of her living space, complete with a light-colored couch, round concrete coffee tables, and light wood accents.

Aesha put Scotty to work very quickly after his arrival home in New Zealand. Aesha took to her Instagram Story on October 10, where she revealed that Scotty was on his way home after traveling out of the country.
"So I am now mere hours away from picking up my love from the airport," Aesha explained in the Instagram video at the time. "He wasn't supposed to land until mid-next week. So, yeah, really fun change of plans. I'm really stoked!"
Once they were home, Aesha showered her future husband in kisses and made one very keen observation about him. "He's so happy to be here!" she exclaimed.
Just days after returning home from traveling, Aesha assigned her fiancé to paint the walls of their home. Although the grind never stops, it's just one more task for the couple to complete before they really enjoy their summer together.
