See Inside the "Perfect" NYC Apartment Where Naomie Olindo Is Currently Living
The Southern Charm alum shared a tour of her adorable short-term rental home in New York City.
Naomie Olindo and her boyfriend, Metul Shah, are looking for a new home in New York City while Metul pursues a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine. The Southern Charm alum shared her life update back in May, and also let on that she was scoping out furniture for "the NYC apartment we don't have yet."
Hoping to find a place before July 1, the fashion pro and her beau were looking at real estate in Big Apple neighborhoods including Greenwich Village and TriBeCa. But based on a recent update, it seems that the pair has honed in on the West Village — at least for now.
In a series of recent Instagram Stories, Naomie shared a taste of her new life. She highlighted having drinks with friends and mentioned a "perfect" West Village apartment from Blueground, which rents out fully furnished pads.
In addition to drinks, Naomie and Metul were checking out some local eats. The pair had eaten sushi at Bondst, and also sampled the menu at NYC bistro Jack's Wife Freda.
Later, Naomie returned to Instagram to share more scoop on her Blueground rental. "[We] still do not have an apartment, we're still looking," she shared in a video. "It's been very, very hard to find one that we love. So in the meantime, we're staying in a Blueground property."
Naomie went on to explain that she and Metul had had a choice between a few of the company's short-term rentals, but they chose to live in the West Village for now. "We're trying to learn different parts of the city," she said. "It's been so, so nice not having to worry about needing to sign a lease right now, especially sight unseen. We weren't up here before so I was doing everything with brokers on the phone, and it just was scary, signing a lease to a place you have not even seen in person."
Naomie went on to offer a tour of her temporary dwellings, which she described as "actually kind of huge for New York." There's a "cute little kitchen" with a work-from-home area off to the side. The living room has cute decor including a striped accent wall, and the couple also has a bar cart in place. Naomie ended her tour in the bedroom, which has plenty of natural light and a bright green accent wall decked with leafy plant prints.
